Fr. Myles Sheehan, SJ, Named Assistant to the Provincial for Senior Jesuits

Fr. Myles N. Sheehan, SJ, has been appointed Assistant to the Provincial for Senior Jesuits of the Maryland Province. He currently serves in a similar capacity for the USA Northeast Province.

Fr. Sheehan is a physician with qualifications in Internal Medicine and Geriatrics. He served as Provincial of the New England Province from 2009 to December 2014 when the New England and New York Provinces merged to create the USA Northeast Province. Although he no longer actively practices medicine, Fr. In his role for the Maryland Province, Fr. Sheehan will assist the Provincial, Fr. Robert Hussey, SJ, and Assistant to the Provincial for Healthcare, Maura Parker, RN, as well as our local superiors in strengthening the overall care for older Jesuits and in consulting about issues related to the aging of seniors. Fr. He will begin work in this role on January 11, 2016.
