July 5, 2017 -- JESUITS Magazine, the magazine of the Maryland and USA Northeast Provinces won a 2017 Catholic Press Association (CPA) award (Second place) in the Best Religious Order Magazine category.
On June 10, 2017, the Most Reverend George Murry, SJ, Bishop of Youngstown, Ohio, ordained Jesuits Rodolfo Casals, Daniel Corrou, Brett McLaughlin, and Angelo Rizzo to the priesthood. They were among the 30 Jesuits ordained priests in the U.S. and Canada this month.
